Dear PVUSD 8th Grade Student and Family,

To recognize and honor our 8th-grade students promoting to high school, we have ordered three items to celebrate them: a shirt, a hoodie, and a yard sign. The students will receive the items during their 8th-Grade Drive-thru Promotion Ceremony. This is the plan for the Drive-thru 8th grade promotion:

Parents and students will wait at the parking lot in front of the high school cafeteria forming five single file lines facing south. Staff members will be there to guide parents. Please make sure to use the Blythe Middle School parking lot for overflow parking so we don’t block the traffic on Lovekin. Students and families will have to take turns driving thru. There will be three stations for students and families to pick up the items at the Scott’s Stadium’s parking lot. Each site will have a scheduled time to go through the line. We ask that you are patient, punctual, and cooperative. We plan to spread these stations out so we minimize the traffic and we can get the families through quickly.

Once the staff gives you the OK to head to the Scott’s Stadium’s parking lot, you will diver-thru the three stations. The 8th-grade teachers will be delivering the items to the students.

You are more than welcome to decorate your car, honk, and have music to celebrate your student. These are definitely unprecedented times that we cannot control. Thank you for all the support and for helping us celebrate your student.

Estimados estudiantes del 8vo grado y familias,

Para reconocer y honrar a los estudiantes del 8vo grado que se estarán promoviendo a la preparatoria, hemos ordenado tres artículos para celebrarlos: una camiseta, un suéter y un letrero. Los estudiantes van a recibir estos artículos durante la promoción del 8vo grado en carro.

Los padres y los estudiantes van a esperar en el estacionamiento que está enfrente de la cafetería de la preparatoria formando cinco líneas individuales hacia el sur. Miembros del personal los guiarán. Por favor asegúrese de usar el estacionamiento de la escuela Blythe Middle School si no alcanza lugar en el estacionamiento que está enfrente de la cafetería. Los estudiantes y las familias van a tomar turnos manejando por el estacionamiento del estadio Scott. Cada escuela va a tener un horario para pasar por la línea. Les pedimos que sean pacientes, puntuales y que cooperen con nosotros. Planeamos separar las estaciones para minimizar el tráfico y poder pasar a los estudiantes y familias rápido por las estaciones.

Una vez que los miembros del personal le digan que puede dirigirse al estacionamiento del estadio, usted podrá manejar por las tres estaciones. Los maestros del 8vo grado estaran ahi para darle los articulos a sus hijos.

Están más que invitados a decorar sus carros, a usar el claxon, y a tener música en el carro. Estos son definitivamente momentos inesperados que no podemos controlar. Gracias por todo su apoyo y por ayudarnos a celebrar a su estudiante.
